Meadow View Elementary 2026-2027 School Year Information
MV Summer Office Hours- June 1st through July 31st:
Monday – Wednesday - 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Thursday- 8:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.
Closed Fridays!
Please Note The office will be closed from June 29th to July 15th
Regular office hours will resume on August 1st
Teacher Assignments:
Homeroom Assignments for Elementary will be posted on the “Home Access Center” on August 6th at 4:00 p.m. If you have any trouble with the “Home Access Center”, please contact the MV office at 815-439-4828.
Kindergarten Round-Up:
Kindergarten students are invited to our Round-Up on Monday, August 10th from 4:00-5:00 p.m. at Meadow View. Kindergarten students and parents are welcome to come and meet your new teacher and classmates.
Meet the Teacher:
Meet the Teacher will be on Wednesday, August 12th from 12:00-1:30 p.m. Students are encouraged to drop off their school supplies in their classrooms on this day.
First Day of School:
The first day of school is Thursday, August 13th, which is a full day of student attendance for 1st grade through 5th grade (Kindergarten please see below) from 9:05 a.m. to 3:40 p.m.
Kindergarten Attendance Information:
Thursday, August 13th & Monday, August 17th: Kindergarten for students with last names A - L
Friday, August 14th & Tuesday, August 18th: Kindergarten for students with last names M - Z
Wednesday, August 19th: All Kindergarten students attend
Curriculum Night Info:
Curriculum Night at Meadow View will be held on Tuesday, September 1st with two sessions: 5:30-6:10 p.m. and 6:20-7:00 p.m.
