Fourteen District 202 schools at all levels will have new faces in assistant principal roles in the 2023-2024 school year that begins Thursday, August 17, 2023.

Elementary School

April Mrozik, is the new assistant principal at Central Elementary School. She most recently served as an elementary school teacher in New Lenox District 122.

Rebecca Hernandez is the new assistant principal at Creekside Elementary School. She most recently served as coordinator of multilingual services at Valley View School District 365U.

Adam Bialon is the new assistant principal at Grand Prairie Elementary School. He most recently served as the assistant principal at Shepherd Middle School in Ottawa.

Anne George is the new assistant principal at Lakewood Falls Elementary School. She most recently served as an early childhood social worker in Orland School District 135.

Christopher Schroeder is the new assistant principal at Liberty Elementary School. He most recently served as an alternative language arts teacher in the West 40 PEACE Program in Hillside.

Jessica Heldt is the new assistant principal at Lincoln Elementary School. She most recently taught at St. Anne Grade School in St. Anne.

Alexandria Williamson is the new assistant principal at Meadow View Elementary School. She most recently served as a first-grade teacher at Meadow View.

John Knobbe is the new assistant principal at Thomas Jefferson Elementary School. He most recently served as an assistant/associate principal at Lindop School District 92 in Broadview.

Middle School

Cassandra Conrad is the new Assistant Principal for Student Services at Drauden Point Middle School. She most recently was a special education teacher at Drauden Point.

Monica Pettway is the new assistant principal for student services at Indian Trail Middle School. She most recently was the Director of Educational Support at Saint Bede Academy in Peru, Illinois.

Jeremy Holzer is the new assistant principal of student services at Timber Ridge Middle School. He most recently was a social studies teacher at Thornton Fractional District 215.

High School

Cindy Egizio is the new associate principal for curriculum and instruction at Plainfield East High School. She most recently served as an art teacher and chairperson of the Creative Art Department at PEHS.

Shannon McKeague is the new assistant principal for student services at Plainfield North High School. She most recently served as the Special Education Department Chairperson at PNHS.

Fernando Nieto is the new assistant principal for building and operations for Plainfield South High School. He most recently served as assistant principal for culture and climate at Streamwood High School in District U46.
